Some rooms have exposed brick walls and high arched ceilings from the 15th century. The also include air conditioning, satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. A varied hot and cold buffet is available at breakfast. The Unique Al Palatino Garden Restaurant serves Roman and Italian dishes, which can be enjoyed on the patio overlooking the garden. Located next to a Franciscan friary, Kolbe Hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Coliseum and the popular area of Trastevere, just across the Tiber River. The hotel is very well connected by both tourist and local buses.
