How to Reach Akhaldaba, Georgia
Akhaldaba is a small village located in the mountains of Georgia. There are several ways to get to Akhaldaba:
- By Car: Akhaldaba is located about 130 kilometers north of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. You can reach Akhaldaba by car via the Georgian Military Highway (also known as the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Road), which offers stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains.
- By Public Transit: You can take a marshrutka (a shared minibus) from Tbilisi to Stepantsminda, a town located about 20 kilometers from Akhaldaba. From Stepantsminda, you can hire a taxi or hike to reach Akhaldaba.
- By Foot: Akhaldaba is a popular destination for hikers and trekkers. There are several hiking trails that lead to Akhaldaba, including the popular Gudauri-Akhalkalaki Trail and the Kazbegi-Chaukhi Pass Trail.
